Japan firms to sell idol images to S. Korean cell phone users

TOKYO, Japan - An idle screen of a mobile phone handset displays an image of Fumika Suzuki, a Japanese idol whose images Computer game maker Taito Corp. and trading house Marubei Corp. will provide for cell phone services by SK Telecom of South Korea. Starting in mid-November, Taito and Marubeni will sell images of five to six idols from 300 won (about 30 yen) to 350 won each. (Kyodo)
