Beato photo of the Kaisando at Kofukuji temple and the Kojiyamachi street around 1864. This is one of the oldest photo of the street in Nagasaki in the late Edo Period. Tera-machi is viewed from the street of Koji-machi. The tiered building in the center is the Kannon-do at Kofukuji Temple, built beside the former founder's hall in 1825.
