TOKYO, Japan - Imperial Household Agency Grand Steward Shingo Haketa (R) conveys a message from Yoshiki Kuroda to Emperor Akihito (L), Empress Michiko (2nd from L) and their daughter Princess Sayako during ''the Kokki no Gi (the Rite of Announcing the Date)'' at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Oct. 5.
