Faro, a mechanical engineer, has been living for more than eight years as a displaced person in the Erbil Governorate of Iraqi Kurdistan region, where he and tens of thousands of Christians were forced to flee from the Nineveh Plains and the city of Mosul in 2014 after ISIS took control of it.
