The fire broke out on Tuesday night in the al-Haytham Wedding Hall in the town of al-Hamdaniya, 35 km southeast of the provincial capital Mosul. Ahmed Abu Zeid, Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, expressed the sincere condolences of the Arab Republic of Egypt and its solidarity with the government and people of the Republic of Iraq.
