Wildfires are raging in Ehime and Okayama prefectures in western Japan. In Okayama Prefecture, a forest fire broke out in Minami Ward, Okayama City, on Sunday, March 23. Evacuation orders were issued, and the burned area expanded to approximately 250 hectares as of Monday, 7:00 a.m. local time. No injuries have been reported. Also on Sunday, March 23, a fire broke out in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, on northwestern Shikoku Island, and spread to 128 hectares by Monday morning. Local reports indicate a firefighter sustained a minor injury.

Nagasawa arrived in the United States in 1867 after living in Britain for two years where he was sent on a clandestine mission by the Satsuma clan, known for their rebellion against the Japanese shogunate, to learn about Western culture to help prepare Japan for the 20th century.

Kyushu Electric Power signs LNG bunkering contracts for coal with two shipping companies

The cost of the project and the share of the cost with Kyushu Electric Power Co. will not be disclosed. The two shipping companies mentioned the spread of LNG-fueled vessels. Hitoshi Nagasawa, president of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), said, "We will basically use LNG-fueled vessels for car carriers. Junichiro Ikeda, president of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), expressed his willingness to work on infrastructure development, including fuel supply. The fuel will be supplied by Kyushu Electric Company (Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City) at its onshore shipping facilities. Nagasawa's "Keylex" series of mechanical cryptographic locks

A new product with a stylish design added to the "Keylex" series of mechanical cryptographic locks is a hot topic. Nagasawa Seisakusho (Arashiyama-cho, Saitama Prefecture), the manufacturer and distributor of the product, has released the "Keylex 3100" as a successor model to the type in which the PIN number can be easily changed from inside the room. It has a slender body called a narrow frame with a streamlined design at the bottom. The width of the body has been reduced by 40%, from 66mm to 40mm. "In order to make the parts smaller, assembly was very difficult. Akimaru Watanabe, director of the company, says, "It was very difficult to assemble to make the parts smaller, so we made the design as small as possible. Matte black is the first color variation. Combined with a slender body, it will be "easy to match with various scenes.
