The excavations in the ancient city of Prusias ad Hypium are located in the Konuralp district of Duzce, the state-run TRT broadcaster reported. Experts believe that the newly-discovered mosaic room represents a late Roman era cult area, where a society or a group of people practiced a lifestyle that included specific values, beliefs, traditions, art, and other cultural elements. It added that the piece was delivered to the Duzce Konuralp Museum to be examined and displayed.
