Cyber Univ. admits to teaching people without ID confirmation

TOKYO, Japan - Sakuji Yoshimura, president of Cyber University, an education ministry-accredited institution set up to offer all its teaching through the Internet, said at a news conference in Tokyo on Jan. 21 it has not confirmed the identities of 180 of its 620 students. Yoshimura said the Fukuoka City-based university will complete confirmation of their identities by the end of January.

The brewer has no plans to commercialize it but expects to release details of the product at an academic conference to be held in the United States in October.

Nagoya Castle

Taira Castle is located in Nakaku, Nagoya city. It was the residence of the Owari Tokugawa family. The castle tower can be seen from the outside of the moat. The castle tower was built by the Sakuji Bugyo (construction prefect) Kobori Enshu in 1612, and was destroyed by fire during the war in 1945. The present castle was restored in 1959.
