Spokesman for the Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage, Hakim al-Shammari, told Xinhua on Friday that "the museum used to close its doors on Fridays and Saturdays, but from today, the museum will also open every Friday to welcome Iraqi families and tourists free of charge, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m." He explained that for the rest of the days of the week, from Sunday to Thursday, the entry to the museum is at a symbolic price, which is 3,000 Iraqi dinars for each citizen and 25 U.S. dollars for a foreigner. The Peljesac Bridge, 2.4-km long and 55-meter high, is designed to link the mainland of Croatia with its southernmost Dubrovnik-Neretva County, crossing the Mali Ston Bay over the Adriatic Sea and bypassing foreign territory. In January 2018, a Chinese consortium led by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) won the bid for the first phase of the Peljesac Bridge and its access roads. It is the biggest transportation infrastructural project between the two countries since they forged diplomatic ties 30 years ago.
