World's first 'space mouse' born out of cryopreserved sperm

KOFU, Japan - Teruhiko Wakayama (R), professor at University of Yamanashi, and his wife Sayaka Wakayama, associate professor of the same institution, announce the birth of the world's first "space mouse" fertilized by cryopreserved sperm in Kofu, northwest of Tokyo, on July 30, 2014.
