Japan: Tropical Storm Shanshan Brings Widespread Heavy Rains 11

Tropical Storm Shanshan brought days of torrential rains, causing widespread flooding across Japan. The storm also caused downed trees, power outages, and mudslides across the country, leaving at least seven dead and more than 120 people injured. Shanshan was downgraded to a tropical depression at noon Sunday.
