The train was jointly developed by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles and Chengdu Rail Transit Group. It has a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The train has a built-in "hydrogen power" system to provide a power source for vehicle operation, with a battery life of 600 km. It is environment-friendly with zero carbon emissions.
