Rakuten Tanaka talks could start as early as Monday

LAKE BUENA VISTA, United States - Yozo Tachibana, president of Japanese professional baseball club Rakuten Eagles, speaks to reporters at Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, on Dec. 10. Tachibana said he could meet with the team's ace pitcher Masahiro Tanaka as early as next Monday to talk about Tanaka's desire to play in the majors.
