Chinese authorities putting pressure on churches

WENZHOU, China - Graffiti denouncing the Chinese Communist Party on a wall photographed on April 28, 2014, near a church in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, shows deep conflicts between local municipal authorities and Christians in the east coast province known for having a relatively large number of Christians. Many churches were ordered to remove their crosses for their alleged violation of building codes.
