Italy: Sign Atop ‘Generali’ Zaha Hadid-Designed Skyscraper Sees Partial Collapse in Milan

A structure supporting one of the signs on the roof of the Generali Tower, a Zaha Hadid-designed skyscraper in Milan's CityLife district, collapsed on Monday, June 30. Tre Torri metro station and a shopping center at the foot of the tower were closed for safety, and the nearby square was fenced. No injuries were reported, and it is not clear what triggered the failure.
