The explosion happened at around 12:55 local time (1155 GMT) and the area was evacuated with a security perimeter set up one kilometer away from the explosion. The two people killed are believed to be workers from a different company other than from the biodiesel plant. No injuries were reported. Some 250 school children from the city of Zaragoza were among those evacuated. They were on a day-trip visiting the nearby Tierra Rapaz nature park.
