US: Large Hail Pummels Omaha, Nebraska

A storm system pummeled the Omaha metro area with large hail on Wednesday night, June 12. Hail as large as golf balls were reported. Local weather bureaus forecast storms may fire up again Thursday afternoon and evening.

SAPPORO, Japan - Photo shows the Sapporo bureau of Japan Broadcasting Corp., better known as NHK, which received an envelope containing a metallic object resembling a rifle bullet in the mail. Two local NHK bureaus each received an envelope containing a metallic object on Feb. 24, a day after similar mail was received at the broadcaster's headquarters in Tokyo.
