Held annually in Egypt's glamorous city of Aswan by the Nile River, the AIWFF sheds light on women's causes and rights through filmmaking. The festival is held this year from Feb. 23 to 28, with the participation of 12 films from 18 countries, besides 24 films contesting in the short film competition.
