According to the police, 15,000 child porno DVDS from seized from a Sendai mansion in what officials believe to be the single largest DVD seizure from one location. Three men were arrested in Sendai on suspicion of selling 44 child porno DVDs to two men in Aichi in December for 20,500 yen. The three suspects have allegedly been selling child porno DVDs online since August 2005, netting more than 100 million yen, police say.

The drive (L) -- 14.6 centimeters wide, 4.1 cm high and 19 cm long -- is designed to be fitted into a standard-sized CD drive slot on the core tower portion of a desktop computer. The memory capacity of a 50-gigabyte version of a Blu-ray disk (R) provides a capacity nearly 10 times that of a 4.7-gigabyte DVD. The new drive is compatible with both the 50-gigabyte and 25-gigabyte Blu-ray disks.
