Obara, 84, who discovered the clover on May 10, will seek to have it listed in the Guinness Book of Records as a world record for the most number of leaves on a clover stem, surpassing the previous record of 18 leaves on a clover discovered by Obara in 2002. ''I never dreamed of seeing this many leaves on a clover,'' he said, adding he had counted them by putting decals on each leaf.
