Sony opens entertainment center in San Francisco

Sony Corp. opens an entertainment center June 16 in San Francisco, the first of its kind by the Japanese electronics giant, with the opening ceremony drawing 5,000 visitors. The four-story Metreon center was built on a 31,500-square-meter site and houses 15 movie theaters, in addition to video arcades and restaurants.
