BIBAI, Japan - Photo shows white-fronted geese, the harbinger of winter, flying in flocks from the swamp of Miyajima in the city of Bibai, Hokkaido, northernmost Japan, on the morning of Oct. 17. About 13,000 geese will soon head for the swamp of Izu in northern Miyagi Prefecture at a speed of around 80 kilometers to pass this winter there.
