(220616) -- REDANG ISLAND, June 16, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Baby green turtles scurry into the sea at the Chagar Hutang Turtle Sanctuary located at the northern part of Redang Island, Terengganu, Malaysia, on June 14, 2022. The Chagar Hutang Turtle Sanctuary is one of the main nesting sites for green and hawksbill turtles. The annual nesting period for green sea turtles usually falls around March to October, with a peak in May to July. In 2005, the Terengganu State government declared Chagar Hutang beach as a sea turtle sanctuary.
