Matsushita to recall over 158,000 dishwashers due to defect

OSAKA, Japan - Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. said Oct. 31 it will recall a total of 158,000 units of three countertop dishwasher models after the company received four reports of the machines catching fire. The product on the left is the same dishwater as the one catching fire. The right is the model for which the company will offer parts free of charge.

Using the charger, operated with 100 yen coins, a four-wheel motorized car can move an average of 10 kilometers per charge of one hour, Kansai Electric Power said.
