Super-compact EV

Toyota Auto Body Co. unveils a special model of the super-compact electric vehicle COMS at a media event in Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, on Oct. 6, 2022, to mark the 10th anniversary of its launch. The one-seat vehicle developed for short-distance travel such as for goods delivery and nursing-care visits has a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour and can travel for 57 km on one electric charge.

TOKYO, Japan - A woman passes by a sedan in a Tokyo hotel parking area Jan. 22 in a prototype ''Q-Car 2010'' electric vehicle which toy maker Takara Co. plans to market in September. Takara said the one-seat car can travel 80 kilometers after being charged for 8 hours, and can reach speeds of up to 60 km per hour.
