With a total length of about 6 km, this tunnel project is the first river tunnel across the Yangtze in Anhui Province and can reach over 70 meters deep underground. The tunnel is designed to have a two-way six-lane highway with a designed speed of 80 km/h. This tunnel is scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2024.
