The double-deck road-rail bridge is China's first and the world's longest cross-sea road-rail bridge. With a span of 16 km, it has a six-lane highway on the top and a high-speed railway at the bottom. However, due to strong gales and high waves in the region, maintenance of the bridge had been a challenge. This year, with the application of two robots, work efficiency has been improved.
