In a video recorded on February 4, 2024, in Jinzhai, Lu’An, Anhui, heavy snowfall caused a massive traffic jam on the highway, leaving many drivers stranded for over a day without food. During this challenging time, kind-hearted local villagers climbed up the snowy slope to reach the stranded drivers, bringing them hot water and instant noodles to provide warmth and sustenance. Seventeen Muslims have driven from Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, to the quake-devastated northeastern region, bringing with them large amounts of ingredients and cooking utensils, to serve hundreds of dishes of warm curry, rice and naan for survivors, giving them sustenance and encouragement.
