Kubota to enter farming "assist suit" market in 2016

OSAKA, Japan - A woman wearing a prototype "assist suit" developed by Japanese agriculture equipment maker Kubota Corp. easily lifts a 20-kilogram container filled with apples during a presentation in Kyoto on Jan. 16, 2015. TOKYO, Japan - The Kanagawa Institute of Technology has developed a robotic suit (worn by a woman on the right) to help reduce the physical burden of nursing care. It involves an outfit in which air is injected using a small pump, enabling the wearer to lift a person out of bed with about half the amount of energy normally needed.

ATOUN, a Nara City-based company, announced on April 3 its concept of developing a new wearable robot with enhanced software. Combining face mask and paper napkin for dining out
