Former ozeki Konishiki to debut as TV entertainer

Former ozeki Konishiki (R), who has cut his ties with the Japan Sumo Association, meets the press Tuesday Oct. 13 along with TV celebrity and film director Takeshi Kitano. The Hawaiian-born Konishiki said he will pursue a career in the TV entertainment business, starting this week with a weekly TV program with Kitano. ==Kyodo
