Mukai, Glenn head for press conference

Japanese astronaut Chiaki Mukai (L) heads for a press conference at Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Nov. 8 after the U.S. space shuttle Discovery returned home with its seven-member crew including U.S. Sen. John Glenn (R). Discovery returned to Earth on Nov. 7, successfully ending its nine-day mission during which some 80 experiments ranging from biological to solar studies were conducted.
