Akebono to sit out spring sumo tournament
Yokozuna Akebono meets press in Osaka on March 12 after deciding to sit out the upcoming Spring Grand Sumo Tournament. The Hawaiian-born giant postponed a much anticipated return from an injury that had sidelined him the two previous tournaments. The 15-day spring tournament opens March 14 at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium.
