Okapi to debut in Japan
A rarely seen okapi, a member of the giraffe family, runs
around March 25 at Zoorasia, a new zoo to open April 24 in Yokohama.
It is the first time for the animal from tropical rain forests to be
seen in Japan. The zoo will have 315 animals from 59 species,
including the rare Indian lion.
