Police raid 4 places in AUM handbill crackdown

Plainclothes men search one of apartment houses in Yokohama on June 11 which they suspect is linked to the AUM Shinrikyo religious cult group in connection with the alleged illegal distribution by a member of the sect of handbills in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. A 33-year-old man arrested the previous day had some 700 pamphlets saying that crimes AUM is accused of are frame-ups by the media.
