Kyushu Univ. doctors end 'domino' transplant
FUKUOKA, Japan - The photo shows Kyushu University professor Keizo Sugimachi (far R) and other doctors meeting the press at Kyushu University Hospital in Fukuoka Prefecture at 1:03 a.m. July 27 after ending Japan's second ''domino'' transplant operation involving a healthy donor, following one conducted on July 9-10 by Kyoto University Hospital doctors. A female patient in her 40s received part of her brother's liver on the night of July 26 in the operation involving three patients.
