Japanese lawmakers depart for E. Timor to observe ballot
NARITA, Japan - Six Japanese legislators depart for East Timor on the morning of Aug. 28 to observe a referendum on Aug. 30, in which East Timorese will choose whether to accept autonomy within Indonesia or to go independent.
