Singer Noriko Awaya dies at 92
TOKYO, Japan - The photo shows singer Noriko Awaya, called Japan's queen of the blues, singing on Sept. 25, 1991 at the 14th Japan Singers Association festival in Tokyo's Nakano Ward. Awaya died on Sept. 22 at her home in Tokyo's Ota Ward, her family says on Sept. 25. She was 92.
