Japanese urged to stockpile food, water for Y2K
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi addresses a meeting of a government task force on the Year 2000 computer problem Oct. 29. The team recommended that the public stockpile several days' worth of food and water over the year-end as a precaution.
