Kyrgyz premier meets with Japanese Premier Obuchi
TOKYO, Japan - Kyrgyz Prime Minister Amangeldy Muraliyev (L) shakes hands with Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi at Obuchi's official residence on Feb. 8 prior to their talks. During the meeting, the two discussed the safety for Japanese nationals in Kyrgyzstan. Muraliyev requested further economic aid to help promote democracy and free-market policies in the Central Asian country.
