"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday told a press conference that his country has rejected the proposal from Hamas for a ceasefire for the war in Gaza. He reaffirmed that Israel will continue to fight in Gaza until total victory against Hamas, and Israeli army will remain in the strip after the current conflict to ensure the safety of Israel. Also on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken paid his fifth visit to Israel since the conflict broke out. During the meeting with Netanyahu, Blinken discussed the importance of protecting civilians in Gaza and securing the release of hostages being held in Gaza."
