New York Int'l Auto Show opens to press

NEW YORK, United States - The 2001 Toyota Highlander car-based, sport-utility vehicle is one of some 1,000 new models from the world's leading automakers on display at the 2000 New York International Auto Show, which opened to the press April 19 ahead of its nine-day run starting April 22. Fifteen new models will be unveiled for the first time at the show, which will also feature more than 30 futuristic concept cars.
