Nintendo to release new game console

TOKYO, Japan - One of visitors to an electronics fair at Makuhari, east of Tokyo, takes a picture of Nintendo Co.'s next generation of home video game console, dubbed GAMECUBE, on display in a plastic case. The company said Aug. 24 it will release the console, measuring 11 x 15 x 16.1 centimeters, in Japan next July.

                TOKYO, Japan - Nintendo Co. said on April 28 it has decided to name its next-generation game console ''Wii'' before the new product's debut later this year. The name, sounding like ''we'' in English, means that every family member can enjoy playing the new machine, the company said.
