Shiatsu pioneer Namikoshi dies at 94
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows Tokujiro Namikoshi, a pioneer of shiatsu massage whose clients included the likes of Marilyn Monroe, who died of lung cancer at a Tokyo hospital on Sept. 25 at the age of 94. A native of Kagawa Prefecture in western Japan, Namikoshi headed the Shiatsu therapy association of Japan and Japan Shiatsu College.
