U.S. ambassador meets the press
BEIJING, China - U.S. Ambassador to China Joseph Prueher speaks to the media outside the U.S. Embassy in Beijing late April 11. In a letter delivered to Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan earlier in teh day, Prueher conveyed ''sincere regret'' from U.S. President George W. Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell for the lost Chinese pilot and aircraft.
