A-bomb survivor in Brazil seeks Japan health care allowance
HIROSHIMA, Japan - Lawyer Shuichi Adachi (R), speaks to reporters in Hiroshima's Naka Ward on March 1 about a lawsuit filed by his client Takushi Morita, an atomic bomb survivor living in Brazil's Sao Paulo. Morita, head of an association of A-bomb victims in Brazil, sued the state and the Hiroshima prefectural governments to seek 1.37 million yen in health care allowances under the Atomic Bomb Victims Relief Law.
