Tsujimoto says secretary's salary used for office cost
TOKYO, Japan - Opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) lawmaker Kiyomi Tsujimoto (in file photo) admitted March 24 to receiving her former policy secretary's state-paid salary as donations and using them to cover the costs of managing her office, in possible violation of the political fund control law. But Tsujimoto, a House of Representatives member and SDP policy board chairwoman, said she put none of the money to personal use.
