Comic actress Kiyokawa dies at 89

TOKYO, Japan - Comic actress Nijiko Kiyokawa (file phot) died May 24 of a lung hemorrhage at a Kawasaki hospital, her family said. She was 89. Kiyokawa joined a comedy theater troupe in 1933 launched by Roppa Furukawa and others in Tokyo's Asakusa district.
