Zico's mother dies, coach to miss Argentina friendly
NARITA, Japan - Tearful Japan national soccer coach Zico gives a press briefing at Narita airport, northeast of Tokyo, on Nov. 17 before heading for Rio de Janeiro to attend the funeral of his mother Matilde Dasilva Coimbra, who died Nov. 16. Masakuni Yamamoto, assistant coach of the Japanese squad, will fill in for Zico for the friendly match against Argentina on Nov. 20. (Kyodo)
