Lawmaker Suzuki's aide found conspiring with Suzuki over funds
TOKYO, Japan - Akira Miyano (file photo), who was a state-paid secretary to lower house member Muneo Suzuki, was given a suspended prison term on July 28 for brokering a bid-rigging deal for a state-funded project on Kunashiri Island and conspiring with Suzuki to falsify a political funds report.
