Chinese butterflies spread wings in Kanagawa despite import ban
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Hestina assimilis, a butterfly normally seen in China, has found a home in Kanagawa Prefecture because of illicit importation and breeding, and it is highly likely to endanger the local ecosystem, researchers in the prefecture said Aug. 21.
